I gave the reasons I would not and people feel the need to argue with my opinions and needs out of a DD. Sorry man I think they are ugly and I need a car that is more comfortable and gets better gas mileage.

they aren’t ugly. early C4’s were the best looking between 74 and the C5 FRC.

Yeah I don’t hate the C4 but after helping a friend with his 96 LT1 Vette I don’t think I will ever own one. Its just not practical as a DD. I DDed a friends Fox body hatch while he was out of the country and man that car was fun and very practical.

It’s all a stupid discussion. 2 seat cars are not practical DD’s for the majority of the world.

I’d drive the hell out of a C4. But it could never be a DD.

And I refuse to own a 2 seat car anyhow. I bought the Montego because when kids are older they can ride with me, not leave someone behind. (Seats 6 with those bench seats!)

They didn’t even have that trans for the majority of years they built the C4, don’t write off a whole generation for having a quirky cool transmission when you could simply get an 89 or newer.

4+3 was from 84-88

The ZF 6 speed was from 89-96

Well I did go from a 2 door to a 4 door blazer before having kids but I was engaged when I switched to 4 door because of practicality. But I knew I was going to have that for quite a while and marriage was on the horizon.
